Personal data processing policy
This policy explains which personal and technical data is processed when using “I Hear You”, why it is needed, and how the user can manage it.

2. Data we process
- email, user ID, sign-in method details, and email confirmation status;
- profile settings: name, gender, support style, topics, preferences, and limits;
- chat messages if the user has enabled history saving;
- check-ins, practices, thought records, progress, and user notes;
- technical events: errors, interface language, approximate locale, and in-app actions;
- subscription, plan, limit, and payment status details;
- guest mode data stored on the device until imported or deleted.
3. Purposes of processing
- creating and protecting the account;
- providing the AI chat, practices, check-ins, and progress features;
- personalizing answers within selected settings;
- saving history if the user allows it;
- processing subscriptions and payments;
- improving quality, diagnosing errors, and keeping the service secure;
- complying with legal requirements and responding to user requests.
4. Legal bases
Data is processed based on user consent, performance of the public offer agreement, legitimate interest in the security and stable operation of the service, and requirements of applicable law.
5. Transfer to third parties
Data may be transferred to technical providers without which the service cannot operate: AI provider, local or cloud analysis provider, hosting, database, email service, analytics providers, and payment providers. Only data needed for a specific function is transferred.
6. Storage
Data is stored as long as needed for service operation, contract performance, user support, and legal compliance. Guest data is stored locally on the device. Chat history may not be saved if the user disables that setting.
7. Data controls
- turn off chat history saving;
- change profile and personal settings;
- export account data;
- delete guest data;
- request account deletion through the profile or by email.
8. Security
The service uses technical protection measures: authorization, sessions, restricted access to administrative functions, protected storage of service tokens, and separation of user data.
